Our capabilities in development and construction are critical to our value-add approach to investing and our efforts to own quality assets in exceptional locations.  The company began as a commercial builder in the 1940’s and has been active in construction ever since.
             
Our in-house team of experienced construction professionals and engineers are involved in every aspect of property ownership from routine maintenance and facilities management to oversight of the major renovation projects we engage in each year for both new and existing assets.  Our expertise in asset management combined with our background in construction enables us to develop effective short and long-term capital investment strategies for each of our investments.
             
McKinney Properties is also involved in large-scale, ground-up development projects on an ongoing basis. The construction and development team oversees, or coordinates with joint venture parties, in the oversight of the construction of such developments.
